Myself Raj Kumar Jalan, was born in a business tycoon family manufacturing Shellac and in the export business. I did my junior schooling at Abhinav Bharati and senior secondary at Hindi High School now Birla High School. Completed graduation Bachelor of Commerce at St. Xavier’s college, Kolkata. Lived a very struggle full time in my young age due to early passing away of my father though I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. After closing of family business of Shellac due to government restrictions started importing Honda generators from Japan in the year 1982 which was in very high demand because city was reeling from huge power cuts daily then. But luck had it’s own course. Power position improved after three years in generator business and demand goes down so started assembling air conditioners which again could sustain hardly for three years because branded machines prices reduced drastically. After this setup a factory to manufacture wooden crates for cold drink bottles which runs very successfully for eight-nine years but had to close because of environmental protection issues bottling companies changed to plastic crates. Then again started afresh business of home delivery of cooked food in the year 1999 which run very successfully for five-six years being a new concept that time but had to close after getting high competition from restaurants. So after all these stand and fall engaged in share trading since last fifteen years.
